Wendy Hays

Wendy Hays (Davis) passed unexpectedly on May 24. She was born in Eugene, Oregon and graduated from Sheldon High School. She was also a proud Duck fan but learned to like the Beavers when Sarah attended college at OSU. The only child born to Roger Davis and Sharon Troyanek Davis,  she ultimately had siblings that she loved dearly as she did her parents and stepparents. Wendy also loved all things Hawaiian, the outdoors, and her dream back yard where she spent many evenings in front of the fire enjoying her tiki torches! She enjoyed the girl’s friends coming to the house and often participated in their movie nights and cast parties. Her family was most important to her, including her 4 daughters and her son-in-law. She made holidays and special days events. Her life, spirit, and tastes filled her home and touched many people’s lives.  She is remembered for her humor, a smile that lit up rooms, and how she cared for others.Wendy is survived by her children:  Katherine, Heidi, Sarah, Tabitha, and son-in-law Travis Tyrell, her husband Gary, her Mother Sharon and Stepdad Robert Yates, Father Roger Davis, and his wife Diane. Sisters Gina Davis and Lea Mallory, Vanya Lamperes, Mandy Myers,  and brother Ben Yates. She also has countless other family and friends whose lives she has touched. She is missed.A public viewing will be held at Keizer Funeral Chapel on May 29 from 4:00 to 8:00.  A memorial will be held at a time still to be determined.
