STEVEN EARL KOSMOSKI

Born 6-28-1948 Died 5-15-2025

Steve is survived by his wife Deanna of over 50 years.

He is preceded in death by his father (AJ) Fritz, his birth father Walt, mother Helen, brothers Toye and Craig.

He leaves behind siblings Tim and Roxanne. Also, five children; daughters Jeannie, Melissa and Amy. And two sons John (Sonny) and Ronald. There are seven grandchildren and four grandchildren.

Born in Minnesota, he moved to Oregon at about age eight. He attended Salem schools, taking a Millwright certification at Chemeketa Community College. He worked in Woodburn until retirement. Holding both supervisory and mechanical positions. He loved his jobs, but enjoyed fishing and crabbing with his buddies. He built his 1940s Studebaker race car from the ground up and went on to race and win at the Woodburn Dragstrip.

His ill health prevented him from a lot of his pastimes, so he watched wrestling on TV, played Keno (The lottery will surely miss him) and just relaxed. People knew him as a tough cookie, but respected him alot. Steve requested no formal services. We will miss him forever.
