Ruth Margaret Bos

Ruth M. Bos died on June 23, 2026, in Keizer, Oregon, under the care of hospice at a local loving adult care home. She was born June 1, 1942, in Hinsdale, Illinois, the daughter of Carl T. and Ina (Larson) Erickson.

Ruth graduated from Downers Grove High School, Downers Grove, Illinois, in 1960, and completed two years at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. She worked in accounting for many years, moving from Illinois to Keizer, Oregon, in 2002. Ruth married Henry "Hank" Cornelius Bos in 1964 and they had one son, Henry "Hal" Cornelius Bos Jr., in 1965. Both her husband and son preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Carl F. Erickson and Henry D. Erickson.

Ruth is survived by three siblings: Ann Reeves of Gainesville, Florida, John Erickson of Iowa City, Iowa, and Sally Cowell of Salem, Oregon, as well as many nieces and nephews and their children.

She was a woman of deep faith who loved gospel music as well as giving to her chosen charities/causes. She will be missed by all who knew her. No services will be held.
