Ruby E Jensen

Ruby Eleanor Jensen, Keizer, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2022, her 89th birthday. Ruby is preceded in death by parents; Rufus and Ruth Boatwright, brothers; Robert, Edward, Allan and Don Boatwright; sister Irene Barber Chapman; and sons James Gene and Scott Andrew. She is survived by daughter, Teresa Lee (Terry), three grandchildren; Brion Lee (Samantha), Samantha Lee, Jayme Jensen Evans, and several nieces and nephews.
Ruby graduated from Girls Polytechnic School, Portland, and went on to work for the Oregon Department of Transportation where she worked as a Systems Analyst retiring after 24 years. Ruby was an active member of the Keizer Elks Lodge for many years as well as the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She enjoyed volunteering for the Meals on Wheels program and in the office at the Keizer Police Department. Ruby was an avid reader, an accomplished seamstress, and always enjoyed a good time. She loved her family very much and will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 7th from 1-3 pm at the Keizer Elks Lodge located at: 4250 Cherry Ave. NE, Keizer, OR 97303
