Pedro Valadez-Marin, a cherished father, beloved friend, and gifted painter/contractor, passed away on August 6, 2024, in Salem, Oregon. He was 44 years old.
Born in Aguas Calientes, Mexico to Pedro Valadez Alfaro and Maria Isidra Marin, Pedro was raised in Madera, California, where he graduated from Madera High School. His journey through life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family and his profession. As a painter and contractor, Pedro's work was known for its quality and craftsmanship, but it was his spontaneous spirit that set him apart.
Pedro's greatest joy came from spending time with his children: Andrea Valadez, Bianca Valadez, Alondra Valadez, Alfredo Valadez Ramirez, and Alonzo Valadez Ramirez, and his grandson, Damian Orozco. He was a passionate father who dreamt of seeing all his children grow into adulthood. His spontaneous nature and knack for making people laugh were hallmarks of his personality. Pedro had a unique ability to brighten any room with his humor and warmth, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Keizer Funeral Chapel. The Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, followed by burial at City View Cemetery at 12:00 p.m.
Pedro Valadez-Marin will be remembered for his joyful spirit, his dedication to his family, and his ability to light up a room with his laughter. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
