Nora Coreen Walters

Nora Coreen Walters, 77, She went by the name Corky. She was great at crafts, sewing, macrame and loved playing slot machines at Spirit Mountain Casino. Corky passed away on June 29th 2021 at the Salem Hospital with family by her side.

Corky was born July 4th 1943 and family liked to call her their little firecracker. She was known for her cute smile and sweet personality. She was a very kind and sweet loving soul. Corky spent most of her life being loved by her husband Leroy. They married at the ages of 16 and were married for 61 years. They had a special kind of love that lives on after life.

Corky is survived by her loving husband Leroy, son David Walters, daughter Tracy Walters, siblings Elvin Paynter, Gaylon Paynter and Twyla Paynter. Grandkids Christine Shields, Miranda Walters, Dylan Walters, Mikayla Walters, Alivia Walters, Conner Walters and her beloved dog Heidi.

She was deeply loved and will forever be missed. Corky will be laid to rest at Belcrest Memorial.
