Michael George Zeazeas

April 22, 1926 — March 26, 2014

Mike was born in Portland, Oregon to Michael and Ruth Zeazeas. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 65 years, Donetta, son Michael, brother Albert (Jerry), sister-in-law Judith and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded by daughter Julie, son Steven and Sisters Mary, Helen and Patricia.

As a young man Mike served in the Navy as a signalman during World War II in the Pacific, during the Korean War he served in the Army in Europe as part of a reserve unit sponsored by NW Natural Gas. He worked for NW Natural Gas for over 37 years retiring as a Supervisor in Distribution.

Mike enjoyed spending time with family, friends, gardening, fishing with his brother and reading paperback novels.

A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the ALS Society of Oregon ( www.alsa-or.org ) in names of Julie and Michael Zeazeas.
