Marlene Gettis was born December 17, 1945, in Towner, North Dakota. Marlene met Lynn Gettis in Salem, Oregon and they married June 14, 1970.
Together they raised two daughters, Tawnya Elmore of Salem, OR. and Jamie Jacobson of Tigard, OR.
Marlene had four grandchildren Brock, Chloe, Bryce, and Cole. Marlene loved to cook for her son in-law's Travis Elmore and Andy Jacobson. She also loved going on family vacations every summer in Sunriver, OR.
We were all so blessed to have such a wonderful mother and grandmother to teach us the true meaning of family. We all loved her so much!
