Margaret Ann Pixler

Margaret (Maggie) Pixler, 90, of Keizer died on August 15th of age-related causes. She was born on June 26, 1935, in Wisconsin to Eugene and Mary Lambert, one of 6 children. Her family moved to Sandy, Oregon where she attended school, where she was a cheerleader and graduated from Sandy Union HS in 1954. Shortly after graduation she met and married Delbert Pixler, Jr. of Aloha, Oregon.

Margaret moved to Keizer in the early 1960s with Del, her husband of over 50 years. They both retired, Del as a captain for Marion County Sheriff office and Maggie from PGE. They purchased a truck stop outside of Las Vegas and ran that for a few years before selling it and began traveling in their motorhome. Maggie loved gardening and travel. She was a loving mother to Lisa Wehrli and Connie Powell, adored by grandchildren Tasha, Trevor, Nathan and Christina and great-grandchildren Noah and Emma. She will be greatly missed.
