LeRoy John Duncan, or Roy as he preferred to be called, passed away on
October 25th, after almost 92 years on this earth, surrounded by
his beloved grandson Jonathon and his family. He was a
3rd-generation Oregonian and proud of it, since his grandparents came
to Oregon in a covered wagon! After sone time in the Army during the
Korean War, he got a degree in Business from Oregon State University,
while he was starting a family with his wife Jody (JoAnne).
He worked for Boing in Seattle, then for Lockeed in the Bay Area,
before moving back to Oregon to attend one year of Law School, where
he deicded not to be a lawyer, but instead to go back to work for the
State of Oregon, where he stayed until his retirement.
He loved golf, disc golf, beer, food, and most of all the Beavers! He
is survived by his 4 children, Lee, Melody, Charlotte, and
Sue, and 4 grandchildren. Services will be held on November 9th, 2021,
at 2PM, where he will be laid to rest with his wife Jody in Bellcrest
Memorial Park. Please contact his son Lee Duncan if you would like to
