Keith Frederick Pillman

December 28, 1956 — September 17, 2023

Keith Frederick Pillman was born on December 28, 1956 in Elgin Illinois to Harry Frederick Pillman and Audrey Mable Pillman. He was a "Friend of Bill's" since September 19, 1988, he was also a member of the United States Marine Corps until December 15, 1976. Keith moved from his home state of Illinois around 1979 or '80 to Alaska with a couple of his buddies, in a vehicle they fondly referred to as "The Mud Shark".

He met his second big love in his life, Susan sometime between the years of 1987 and 1989. They were off and on for many years but that relationship wasn't for anything. It was from this relationship that they gained a daughter, whom has from the day she was born been the light of Keith's life. He always said that if there was anything that he did right in his life, it was his daughter, Katie.

Keith reconnected with his high school sweetheart, Kristin in 2012 or 2013. After his daughter moved from the state of Alaska to Missouri he decided it was time for him to move to Oregon and be closer to Kristin. He was a long haul truck driver for a large portion of his daughter's childhood but he did also attend The University of Alaska Anchorage and received his associates degree in the culinary arts. But despite all his accomplishments his biggest passions were his daughter and his granddaughter.

He passed away at his home on September 17, 2023. Just 2 days before his 35th AA anniversary. He is preceded in death by his parents, his high school sweetheart, Kristin, and multiple fur babies.
He is survived by two brothers, Bruce (Ann), and John (Carol), Bruce's children Laura (Jason) and Keiran, a daughter Katie (Sawyer), and a ggranddaughter Audrey.

And now in farewell I write as dad would say "Drive insanely, it's entertaining!"
