Jewell Inez Hathaway (Garvin)

Jewell was born in Caney, Oklahoma to Hubert and Essie Garvin, with 3 siblings, Joyce (Manteca, CA), Jerry (Marysville, CA) and Larry (Yuba City, CA).
Her family moved from Oklahoma to California in 1944 and later to Cottage Grove, Oregon where she met her husband "Mutt" Hathaway, together they raised 4 Children, Keith (Colusa, CA), Tammy (Salem, OR), Liz and DeeDee (both of Silverton, OR), 14 grand and 24 great grandchildren.
She was known and loved for her natural friendliness, wonderfully sarcastic sense of humor, quick smile and her gift of "Gab". Some of her favorite things were crochet, visiting with family and watching wrestling and PBR, she was Fiercly loyal to those she loved, right or wrong, she was always on your side.
