James "Jim" Mckay

April 15, 1952 — July 17, 2023

James "Jim" McKay, born April 15th, 1952 entered into rest on July 17th, 2023.
Son of Joe and Rosella (Gooley) McKay, husband to his best friend Terry (Powell) McKay for over 50 years, loving father to Kim McKay , Keizer, OR, Jim Jr. McKay (wife Marrianne), Salem, OR, Steve McKay (Wife Kimberly), Keizer, OR, and Matt McKay (Wife Heather), Hillsboro, OR. Jim loved his grandchildren Ty, Katie, Lexi, Riley, Hadley and Henley, and "everyone was his favorite!"
Recently preceded in death by father Joe McKay, mother Rosella McKay, brothers Dan and John McKay.
Jim graduated from St. Paul High School and attended OIT in Klamath Falls. He worked as a Nursery and Agricultural Consultant before retiring from Woodburn Fertilizer and Wilber Ellis. Jim was a member of OAN, he was a St. Paul Volunteer Firefighter, Hop Growers of America, a member of the Elks Lodge, a member of the St. Paul Rodeo Association and Knights of Columbus.
In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution can be made to St. Paul Fire Department, flower deliveries to be sent to St. Paul Catholic Church.
Jim had a passion for yardwork and was a perfectionist in maintaining his love of his Corvette and cars. He loved farming and agriculture.

Rosary service will be July 28, 2023 at 10:00AM Funeral immediately following at St. Paul Catholic Church - 20217 Christie Street, St. Paul, OR. 97137. Followed by a graveside burial after the service. Celebration of life will be held at the St. Paul Bullpen.
