Ian Waugh, born on December 10, 1997, in Daly City, California, passed away on January 13, 2026. He was raised in San Francisco, California, and was the beloved son of Jeneya DeMeco and Christian DeMeco.

Ian earned his GED and went on to serve in the military from 2021 to 2023, a period of his life that reflected his strong sense of duty and principled character. Known as a true "jack of all trades," Ian worked as a painter and general contractor and was also a skilled mechanic. His intelligence, resourcefulness, and work ethic were evident in everything he did.

Outside of work, Ian found joy in music and creativity. He loved playing the guitar, gaming, and immersing himself in music. He was smart, sweet, and guided by a strong moral compass. To those who knew and loved him, he was truly everything.

Ian will be remembered most for his deep love for his family and for his devoted bond with his dog, Ekko.

He is survived by his mother, Jen; his father, Christian; his sibling, Nigel; his grandmother, Jane; his uncle, Chris; his brother, Casimiro; his sister, Aria; and his cherished dog, Ekko.
