Beverly Ann Tincknell

Beverly Ann Tincknell passed away peacefully on September 15, 2026, at the age of 101, with family by her side.

Beverly was born June 23, 1925, in DeForest, Wisconsin, to Ruben and Anna Boehm. When she was 13, she and her three sisters moved with the family to Oregon, where she grew up helping in the onion fields on the family farm. She graduated from Salem High School (now North Salem).

Soon after graduation, Bev became the secretary for Labish Brokerage Co. in Brooks, where she worked for 27 years. It was there she met the love of her life, Jack, then a long-haul truck driver. After a short courtship, they married at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Salem in June, 1970.

Family was Bev's greatest joy. She loved her nieces and nephews as her own. She treasured time with family and stayed close to them all her life. Youth in the neighborhood found a home with Jack and Bev. She was a caregiver who would help paint a room, care for newborns and make her delicious fried chicken for tired families.

Bev and Jack lived in Turner from 1970 to 1978, where she earned her brokerage license and sold real estate at the family real estate office. In 1978, they moved to Springfield and opened their own real estate office. In 1990, they bought a home in Keizer to be closer to family. They later lived for nine years at Willamette Lutheran Home (now Clearlake Homes). Bev passed away a short time after moving to Fieldstone Village at Keizer Ridge.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Muriel Ditchen (Carl) and Rojean Danilson (Larry). She is survive by Jack, her husband of 56 years; her sister, Betty Lou Biggs (Barry) of Seattle; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Her loving nature and sharp memory stayed with her until the very end.

A memorial service will be held October 23 at 1:00 p.m. in the Grace Chapel at Clearlake Homes in Keizer.
