With broken hearts, family announce the passing of a beautiful and caring soul, Alice Lou Gibbs, on May 17th, 2025. She passed peacefully in the comfort of her home, surrounded by the tender care of Hospice and the loving presence of her daughter Eugenia and her son William.

Alice was preceded in passing by her beloved longtime partner, Melvin Lewis, just three weeks prior, as well as her cherished daughter Brenda Turner. We find solace in knowing they now welcome her with open and loving arms in heaven.

Alice leaves behind a family who holds her dearly in their hearts, including Cynthia L. Elliott, William D. Bradshaw, and Eugenia R. Alcutt. Together, they carry forward her legacy of love, kindness, and resilience.

We remember Alice with immense gratitude for the time we were blessed to share with her. She touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving behind unforgettable memories filled with joy, warmth, and inspiration. Now, the angels are truly fortunate to fly with her. We love you, Mama, and you will forever be in our hearts.
