Adrienne Cheryl Miller Boock passed away on May 30, 2022, in Salem at the age of 73.
Cheryl was born June 2, 1948, in Salem, to the late Clifton Miller and Leona (Reed) Miller. She graduated from South Salem High School, and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education from Western Oregon University in 1971.
She spent most of her career as a sales associate at the Broadway Department Store in Bakersfield, California, and at Macy’s in Woodland Hills, California, selling furniture and carpeting.
She was a talented artist who enjoyed creating various forms of art, including painting, pottery, and stained glass. While in Bakersfield she was a member of the Sweet Adelines women’s choral group for many years.
She was a loving mother to Jeffrey Alan Boock, who preceded her in death in 1997. She is survived by her sister, Carol Miller of Lincoln City, and by numerous extended family members.
In honor of Cheryl, a gathering of family and friends will occur at 12 Noon on Saturday, June 25, at Oak Knoll Golf Course, along Highway 22 near Independence, Oregon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marion-Polk Food Share in Salem, Oregon.
