Lynn May Waters (Hanson)

August 1, 1941 - November 23, 2012

Salem-Born as Lenita May Hanson on August 1, 1940 in Salem, Oregon, she graduated from Salem High School and Married George Waters in 1959. George and Lynn raised three daughters, Teri, Teresa and Tammie. Lynn had an adventurous spirit and loved going on road trips to explore new places and making new friends. She also enjoyed planting her flowers and watching them grow. One of her favorite times of the year was Christmas with all the lights, decorations and spending time with her family . . . she was fun-loving, giving, kind, wonderful person and also strong and independent, living life on her terms. She found joy and happiness in the simplest of things and loved spending time with her daughters, grandchildren and close friends. Lynn is preceded in death by her father, mother and brothers. She is survived by her husband, George Waters; daughters, Teri, Teresa ans Tammie; and grandchildren, Brittany, Nolan and Scott. At Lynn's request no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to her favorite charities: Marion/Polk Food Share and the National Wildlife Foundation. Arrangements by Keizer Funeral Chapel.
