Jan Lee Cline

May 9, 1947 - October 6, 2011 Jan was born in Silverton, Ore. on May 9, 1947. After spending a few years in Mt. Angel and moving to Tillamook in her teenage years, she spent a year in Dallas before finally settling in Salem. Jan attended Sacred Heart Grade school, Tillamook High, Clatsop Community College and finally Western Oregon University (formerly Oregon College of Education) where she majored in English and minored in Art. During her working years, Jan held a number of different positions including an internship and substitute position at Dallas High School and Manager of "The Budget Mens Dept." at Meier & Frank. From 1979 to 2011 Jan worked for Discovery Toys; working her way up to being a "Sales Director." In 2006 Jan and her loving partner of 7 years, Dave Brandt, opened up and ran a successful limo company called Starlight Limo. Jan was involved in many organizations including the Salem Chamber, Keizer Chamber, Festival of Lights Parade (sponsors tent), Keizer Iris Festival, Keizer K.N.O.W group, Keizer Soroptimist and many other community organizations in the Salem/Keizer area. Jan had also served as Keizer's River Fair Organizer and volunteered for 15 years as crew chief for Jim Desh Hot Air Balloon Services. Jan is survived by her parents, Wallace & Patricia Faulhaber; brothers, Bob and Timm Faulhaber; sisters, Cindy Miles, Deb Wilcox and Gail DuBois; sons, Lee Christopher Cline and Matthew Ross Cline; daughter, Tiffany Layne Cline; and granddaughter, TylerAnne N. Schwindt. Services will be held on Sunday, October 30 starting at 2 p.m. at The Renaissance Inn, Keizer in the "Concord" Ballroom.
