    George Walker Caudle

    January 12, 1946 - February 15, 2022

    George Walker Caudle 1/12/1946- 2/15/2022 George was born in Silverton Oregon and resided in Salem Or the rest of his life. He went to Waldo JR high and was a wrestler. He then attended North Salem High School to the 12th grade and was football quarterback. George father started Caudles Tree Service and taught George at a young age how to work and helped his dad do tree work. He learned how to work topping, pruning, hauling brush, and was also a choker setter, and worked at Christmas tree stands every year. He once worked at Salem Iron works. George had three children with his first wife Linda. Christopher, Sharry, and Lisa. In 1990 George married the love of his life Bernadine, she had four daughters Debbie, Sherry, Julie and Lisa. They were married on a charter boat on the Pacific Ocean in Depot Bay Or. They were happily married for 32 years. At that time George had his own tree service business, Mr G Tree Service, many of his kids and grandkids would help give out business cards all over Salem. George had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. George was a long time member of the Elks, Eagles, and moose lodge fraternities. George enjoyed working hard. Fishing, crabbing, hunting, and camping. He was a excellent artist in wood carving and wood painting crafts etc. He later retired at 62 due to health issues. He was also a great singer and he sang cowboy songs, Hank Williams, Marty Robbins. He sang Don't worry about me, Silver Wings, Kali ja, cheating heart and many more. He loved to sing and dance with his daughters and beautiful wife. He sang in a band in Shaniko Or. He was a cowboy at heart. George had 6 sisters and 3 brothers. His Dads name was Leslie and was born in Missouri. His mother was Alva and was born in Texas. All of who have passed. George loved all of his family. George had strong faith in Jesus and enjoyed listening to gospels.
