    Bobby Dean Trussell

    April 7, 1932 - September 2, 2011

    Keizer- Born in Clarendon, Texas in 1932, Bob moved to Salem as a child where he attended Salem High School. He joined the Navy and served in the Korean War. In 1951 he married Barbara Loynes. Bob worked for Boise Cascade for 44 years as a machine operator in the Beater Room. Bob and his wife were active members in the Shamrock CB Club in the 70's. They also enjoyed RVing with friends and family. Bob was an avid Duck fan and was known for hogging the T.V. remote. Bob is survived by his sons, Larry (Peggy) and Jim (Amy) Trussell, both of Keizer; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, in 1996. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Marion County Dog Control or Willamette Humane Society. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Keizer Funeral Chapel. Private interment was held at Willamette National Cemetery.
